How to make my MERCUSYS camera work with Amazon Alexa

This guide will show you how to add your Mercusys camera to Amazon Alexa. Once added, you can use simple voice commands to control or stream your Mercusys camera videos to Amazon Echo Show or Fire TV. The following is based on the Mercusys camera.

NOTE: Please update both the Mercusys app and Mercusys cameras to the least one first.

Link Mercusys service with Alexa

To get started, make sure your Mercusys camera is set up and online.

There are two options for connecting the Mercusys camera and Amazon Alexa.

Option 1:

1. Open the Mercusys app, go to Me > Third-Party Services, and select Amazon Alexa.

2. Then tap Mercusys Skill and follow the instructions to link your Mercusys account with Alexa. Once linked successfully, the message Mercusys Skill is Now Linked will come up.

3. Tap the message to go to the Amazon Alexa app. After enabling the Mercusys Skill, Alexa will connect to your camera automatically, and now you can control it via Alexa.

Option 2:

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app. Then tap on More in the lower right corner and select Skills & Games.

2. Enter and search for Mercusys.

3. Tap the ENABLE TO USE button.

4. Follow the instructions to link your Mercusys account with Alexa.

5. Once linked, Alexa will discover and connect to your camera automatically. Follow the app instructions to complete the setup, and you can control your Mercusys camera via Alexa.

Note: Every time you change the name of the Mercusys camera, you will need to discover the camera again to update its name.
